Piece Fest Picks Up TV Pilot for Oct 13 Event

Shortly after Piece Fest’s launch announcement, a pilot television episode has since
been ordered and is scheduled to shoot during the live event October 13 at The Graff
Lab in Los Angeles. Executive Produced by David Arquette, the shoot is expected to feature world-renowned artists and celebrities such as Risk, Corin Nemec, David Faustino, DJ Lethal and more!

When a cavalcade of TV and movie stars join together, Hollywood’s cameras often
come following. This is just what has happened following Piece Fest’s event
announcement. Add into the mix, creative contributions from hundreds of the world’s
best (and unknown) street artists and the decision seems obvious.

The TV show’s pilot will center around the most important aspect of Graffiti Art as an experience: the Graffiti Battle, when two or more artists go head to head for industry respect and a display of passion for the art form.

Piece Fest co-founder Omen Ferdowsi furthers: “Now we have the chance to not only do a TV show true to graffiti as an art-form and movement, but also to raise money and awareness for a cause worthy of that movement.”

The money and awareness raised at Piece Fest benefits the Pico Union Housing Corp, which provides facilities and social services to enrich the Los Angeles community.

Every Day Tomorrow Pictures is the front-line production company behind Piece Fest.
With several projects in development, now including Piece Fest’s pilot episode, their
2013 slate looks to be filling up with strong potential.

This event’s artistic endeavor, fueled by creative minds, celebrities giving back and the
unified need to do good will take place from 11:00am - 9:00pm, October 13, 2012, at The Graff Lab, 1038 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90015. The IN Show will be streaming this event LIVE! From interviews to music to artists painting, the world over will be able to see what Piece Fest is giving back to the scene.

Piece Fest Pushes Street Art to Los Angeles Oct 13 2012

Los Angeles, CA -- Piece Fest is the first festival to bring together Los Angeles’ hottest new bands and most talented street artists to celebrate the artistic movement.

Joining the inaugural festival will be Tia Mollier, DJ Lethal, David Faustino, Corin Nemec, World-Famous Graffitti Artist Risk, Executive Director of Los Angeles Art Association Peter May and more.

The one-day street art event features exciting ways for everyone to get involved. While renowned artists will be battling on stage, an aspiring artist can roam, learn from other artists and witness history being made during the battles. Even the most casual Angeleno or amateur art enthusiast is invited to spend hours relaxing, enjoying the displayed art, meeting the artists and finding inspiration for their next project.

“Street art isn’t limited. There’s no one way to create or enjoy art. We invite everyone to come down, visit the fest, support a good cause; and, spend some time expanding the beauty in your world,” explains co-founders Omen Ferdowsi and Corin Nemec.

Piece Fest benefits the Pico Union Housing Corp. Founded in 1965, PUHC was created out of the need to address the neighborhood residents’ ongoing social and economical struggles and since continues to provide facilities and social services to enrich their community.

This fun, family-friendly and creative event will take place at The Graff Lab, 1038 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90015 with The "IN" Show streaming the event live online.

Be sure to get your tickets now before it's too late!
