Viewers can still get hooked on the engrossing, stylish eight-part French horror series that Entertainment Weekly gave an “A-” and called “eerie, tense, and highly addictive.” Beginning Sunday December 1st, each week, viewers will have the chance to catch-up on all previously aired episodes during marathons of  “The Returned” in anticipation of each week’s brand new episode on Sundance Channel. Airing Thursdays at 9:00 PM, "The Returned" takes place in an idyllic French mountain town, where a seemingly random collection of people find themselves in a state of confusion as they attempt to return to their homes. What they don’t know yet is that they have been dead for several years, and no one is expecting them back. As they struggle to reintegrate with their families and past lovers, buried secrets emerge and new mysteries develop as they grapple with a miraculous and sinister new reality. But it seems they are not the only ones to have returned from the dead. Their arrival coincides with a series of gruesome murders which bear a chilling resemblance to the work of a serial killer from the past.

Thr33 Days Dead-Finishing Funds:Thr33 Days Dead is an independent feature length zombie film being filmed/produced in Jasper/Walker County, AL

Currently 90% complete with filming as of August 31st and hope to wrap principle photography by early September 2012!

Plotline:

Patrick, Jeff, and Justin must escape the lake after their day of fishing is ruined when they discover there are zombies in their midst. They escape to the city only to find that it, too, is overrun with zombies. Along the way they meet the brother/sister combo of Pete and Valerie, and together they fight for their right to survive in a world that is seemingly no longer theirs.

Producing and filming an independent, low-budget feature length movie in Alabama is no small feat. However, the cast and crew working on this film are incredibly passionate about what we are doing and are not taking this movie halfheartedly. Each individual involved is making incredible sacrifices, including their own financial resources, to insure that the end result is an entertaining, quality feature length film that can be enjoyed by zombie lovers everywhere. Furthermore, we want to show the world that quality filmmaking can be achieved on a next-to-nothing budget through hard work, dedication, and passion.

Cameos already filmed for the movie include former WWE superstar Luke Gallows, former WCW wrestler Natureboy Paul Lee, George Hardy from Troll 2, and reigning Mrs. Alabama Lynn Maggio.

Funds raised will be used exclusively for post-production costs, including, but not limited to, special FX, editing, audio, submitting the film to various film festivals, travel costs associated with said film festivals, and overall promotion of the movie. Funds will not be used to pay cast and/or crew, except to help offset travel costs for necessary cast/crew to film festivals.

Zombie-Infested 5K, Run For Your Lives Launches Nationally

Popular race to invade 12 cities throughout the United States in 2012

BALTIMORE, Jan. 25, 2012  -- Reed Street Productions, creators of the zombie-infested 5K adventure race, Run for Your Lives , announced today that the race will expand beyond its inaugural location outside of Baltimore into 12 cities across the country, starting with the Atlanta area on March 3, 2012. The inaugural race launched in Darlington, Md., last October with more than 10,000 participants and spectators.

"Even before we officially launched the first race in Darlington, we started planning to invade other popular cities. We'd received so much demand and interest from consumers in the U.S. and abroad that we knew we needed to expand," commented Ryan Hogan, managing member of Reed Street Productions and co-creator of Run For Your Lives. "We learned a lot from our first race and are excited to bring the improved Run For Your Lives experience to zombie-enthusiasts and runners. The zombies are coming to a city near you; get ready to Run For Your Lives!"




Run For Your Lives will be launching in locations near the following major cities:

Run for Your Lives will take participants through a series of obstacles over a 5K course, all while being chased by zombies. Racers, wearing a flag football-like belt with three flags, must make strategic choices to find the quickest route to the finish line with at least one flag to complete the race as a survivor. Survivors and newly-created "zombies" – those who finish without flags – will be able to celebrate following the event at the Apocalypse Party, which will feature live, local entertainment, music, vendors, food, beverages, and of course, zombies.

Registration packages for participants include a race shirt, admission to the Apocalypse Party, a medal signifying your survival or zombie transformation, and advanced training for the zombie apocalypse. Spectator and camping packages are also available. Prizes will be given to the top male and female human finishers in several age brackets, including: 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; and 40 and up. There will also be an awards bracket for military participants. A portion of every ticket sold will be donated to the American Red Cross .
