Documentary - "Walking in my Sleep by Michael C. Cooney" Premiering at Outside the Box Film Festival

The next must-attend film festival coming up November 8, 9 & 10, 2013 is the Outside the Box Film Festival!

Premiering on November 9, 2013, at 8:30am at the Fox Theater is the inspirational documentary, "Walking In My Sleep by Michael C. Cooney."

Michael C. Cooney is the Founder and President of Exceptional Ability Entertainment. A graduate of the School of Education at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, he received his Master of Fine Arts degree from Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles.

Before his career in film production, writing, and public speaking, he spent ten years working in all facets of the music industry, as well as mentoring at-risk kids.

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Michael C. Cooney began his education in a Boston school for the handicapped, but soon became one of the first disabled kids in the United States to break the mainstream barrier. His first book, "Walking In My Sleep," is a memoir about growing up with a disability and has now been turned into the documentary set to Premiere at this year's Outside the Box Film Festival!

Guests to the Festival will have the opportunity to have lunch with actor Joe Mantegna during Saturday’s industry luncheon. Mantenga is the star of CBS's Criminal Minds. He is also notable for his rolls in box office hits such as Three Amigos, The Godfather Part III, Forget Paris, and Up Close & Personal.

As Founder and President of Exceptional Ability Entertainment, Michael C. Cooney has founded the Exceptional Ability Awards.

He has written a wide collection of reviews and commentaries on music and has worked in film for four years.

In 2010 he traveled to South Korea to speak on disability issues, and today he continues to speak around the world. He lives in Los Angeles.
